KitchenAid’s wall oven article lists F2E0, F2E1, F2E2, F2E3, F2E4, F2E5 and F2E6 together. Each says that the user interface or keypad, the control, or the wiring connected to them may have a problem.

Is the last digit a clue?

It would be natural to hope that the final digit identifies a button or a region of the panel. The manufacturer’s wording does not back that up. Because every entry reads word for word the same, the digit says nothing about how serious the problem is or where it is.

• F2E1 is not special for being listed last; that is only the order of the list.
• No key sequence is given for clearing any of the seven.

3. Stay near the display for about a minute for any sign of the F2E code.
