Quick answer
F3, F6 and eleven 1C, 3D and 4D codes are explained identically by KitchenAid: oven control or wiring.
Model compatibility: KitchenAid reuses codes across series and model years, so F3 / F6 / 1C31 / 1C32 … may mean something different on another appliance or generation. Confirm this against your model’s documentation and record your full model number before acting.
Plain language
What this code means
KitchenAid lists thirteen codes with one meaning: the oven control or its wiring may have a problem.
Thirteen codes, one explanation
KitchenAid’s wall oven help page gives a single sentence for F3, F6 and eleven four-character codes that begin 1C, 3D or 4D. Each of them says the oven control, or the wiring connected to it, may have a problem. The separate range page repeats that wording for F3 and F6. Why one explanation needs so many numbers is not covered, and neither is how the codes differ.

About the oven control
Put generally, the oven control is the electronics behind the keypad or touch screen. It takes in your settings and decides when to turn the heat on and off. Per the manufacturer, the fault may be in that control or in the wiring that connects it to the rest of the oven.
Power reset from KitchenAid
Turn the oven’s circuit breaker off. Wait one minute.
Turn it on.
Look at the display for another minute to see if the code is back.
Use the oven as usual to confirm it works.
Nothing else is listed: there is no setting to change and no part to replace.
If the same code shows up again
The manufacturer then refers you to its service scheduling. Control boards and wiring are technician work, so keep the panels closed.
